I am 180 right now and would like to get to 168-170 but I think my portion control has gotten out of hand. I started using myfitnesspal recently to get a better idea of where my calories are coming from. I eat healthy for the most part and don't drink pop or juice, so it has to be portion size I would think. My workout intensity isn't great because I am generally reading/studying and I know that impacts my results. When I am done my exam in June I will definitely ramp up the intensity.

It's ~3500 calories to lose a single pound. Just multiply that by 12 and you'll have your number.
