My favorite "pub crawl" is simply taking a bus to banff, partying at aurora and then having the bus bring you back. 80% of the fun is on the bus!!
Not a fan of the stampede or halloween ones where you lose your friends after the first bar and end up on a bus with randoms and at different clubs.
