I'm totally like this, with books and DVD's. I never take the top one, usually cuz its probably been handled a ton and thus not in pristine condition. I really inspect the corners of books/DVD boxes, and over-all quality of it(no creases, folds, stains, etc), my gf thinks I'm nuts. Just bought Seinfeld season 8, and didn't notice that under the shrink wrap one corner was brutally bent backwards, it GMG to even look at it now, I keep that end facing the back of my DVD rack so I don't have to see it.

Oh, and for some reason I really like when my DVD inside the box is lined up so the title is at the top, its not upside down or sideways. And of course everything on the rack HAS to be alphabetical. Otherwise chaos will ensue. CHAOS I tell you!! Otherwise it may take a few extra seconds to find said DVD. I shudder to even think of it..
