I have a 2005 XC90. Nothing better on a long road trip. Comfortable and quiet and would definitely look at getting another one when this one is at the end of it's life (currently about 75k miles).
You do have to be careful with a couple of the years if you are buying used as they didn't use a robust enough tranny for the 6-cylinder model and those tend to drop at 80k km (though free replacement from what I've heard).
