Yep. For something you spend so much time in, I don't see how some people only look at budgetary concerns when buying a car. Of course you should do it within a budget, but having a car you really enjoy will improve your quality of life. Everybody decorates their office, furnishes/decorates/decks out their house to enjoy it. You should do the same thing with a car, even though you know it's going to depreciate.
Back on topic, I wouldn't really use the internet to make this decision. Use it to find all the cars within the budget, then go out and drive them. BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Lexus, Infiniti, Cadillac...check them all out and decide which you like best. Especially since she said she liked the TL, and hated the G37. By all accounts for driving dynamics, I'd make a safe assumption that the G37 is a much better car.
