I'm on a very slow weight loss journey - about 13 lbs lost since late February. I'm just trying to be more aware of what I eat and how much I eat and it's been working relatively well. I've signed up for a couple of races (including a half-marathon in September) and have been doing a run/walk with friends as well as one cross training day a week. (So any of you guys who talk about fat girls out running and laugh at how they look - watch what you say, you might be talking about me )

Good job! I admire you for signing up for the half marathon! By the way, I am a fat runner too, but with some hard work and smart choices, we will become just Runners!
