What's odd in this is the renovations to add 2500 seats to the MTS Centre. I thought they had always claimed that it wasn't possible? And if it is possible, when would they do them? It doesn't sound like a project that could be completed in a couple of months. So where would the team play while renovations are being done? |
I've heard True North is happy with the size of the arena. A larger arena would reduce demand for tickets. They feel 15,000 is perfect for the size of Winnipeg.
