If we assume that half of the trip is at 70 km/h, and the other half at 60, it takes you 5.5 minutes to get to the terminal, assuming that you never have to slow down at all. Again, there are 7 traffic lights that you go through along that route. The chances of getting a green light for every one are pretty slim. 5 minutes may be the best case scenario, but it certainly wouldn't be average.

Going CHB/Deerfoot/Airport Trail/Barlow/Airport Road allows for some higher speeds, but it's also further, and you still have to go through at least 3 traffic lights. Again, 5 minutes would be the best case scenario.
As I said, that's assuming people do speed limit. If you frequently drive that stretch, you'll notice that hardly anyone goes the speed limit (except for the section just as you reach the top of the hill turning towards Deerfoot, as sometimes there's photo radar there). If you keep to the left lane, you'll do 80km-100km no problem, since most people go on the right to get onto Deerfoot Trail. Once you hit Barlow, there's no reason you can't go above 60km (except for the law ), as it's pretty much open with a few traffic lights. Those lights are usually green since the flow of traffic on Barlow is greater than people turning into those business parks.
