Like I said, from the intersection of CHB/ Coventry Blvd to the Terminal is 6 km along CHB/Barlow/Airport Road. The speed limit on that stretch is never more than 70km/h. You drive through 7 traffic lights going that route. At 60 km/h, you travel 1 km in exactly 1 minute. At 70 km/h it takes 51 seconds to drive 1 km. If we assume that half of the trip is at 70 km/h, and the other half at 60, it takes you 5.5 minutes to get to the terminal, assuming that you never have to slow down at all. Again, there are 7 traffic lights that you go through along that route. The chances of getting a green light for every one are pretty slim. 5 minutes may be the best case scenario, but it certainly wouldn't be average.
Going CHB/Deerfoot/Airport Trail/Barlow/Airport Road allows for some higher speeds, but it's also further, and you still have to go through at least 3 traffic lights. Again, 5 minutes would be the best case scenario.
