all i did was ride the bike for 30 min (or 3 games of COD with "sprints" between games haha) and max chin ups a couple times. I started barely being able to do 3 full chin ups now I do 2 or 3 sets of 10 with sit ups in between and 45 min on the bike.
Just as a note. I wasn't really THAT out of shape. I played hockey at pretty high levels all through childhood but was always kind of chunky. I was 6'0" 225 at one point. I'm not sure what I was when I started working out but I'm at 175 now.
