To me the most telling part was the ending handshake

Harper and Layton shook hands, Layton had a grin, Harper said good job.

Layton and Ignatieff barely made eye contact during the handshake.

Harper and Ignatieff looked like they wanted to throw fists.

Duceppe was relaxed in the handshake.

You can tell that Layton and duceppe know this is a game.

Ignatieff isn't to that point yet, especially with his attack on Layton, it was a great shot, but the wrong forum.

Harper is what he is, he's not a personality type A he's a bureaucrat. But I think his performance was better this year then last year, and I don't think that there was any major damage done.

Ignatieff needs to be way stronger tomorrow night, his performance wasn't bad, but it wasn't a vote booster, and he looked more like Angry leader the Harper ever has.

TBQH I was expecting more, especially with Ignatieff's pedigree.
