Default NFL week 16...and pick 'em

Looks like I **** the bed again. I went for the big upset taking Houston with a confidence of 12. I thought they had a good shot to take out the Jaguars. Man I hate that team.

Interesting week.

Cincinatti blows one at home. Stunning to be honest. They lost any hope of being the #2 in the AFC because of it.

The Chiefs dominate the Chargers. I saw that one. They need Pittsburgh to lose to Detroit next week to get in. Not going to happen. It will be a very interesting offseason in Kansas City.

Denver absolutely pummels the Raiders. The game wasn't nearly as close as the 22-3 score. They lock up that all important #2 slot and would only play on the road if they were to meet Indinapolis in the AFC Championship. Huge for them. This is something they haven't done since they won the Super Bowls.

Speaking of Indy, they lose in Seattle. They sat some players and rested some who played for a bit. I think they might have lost anyway, but it doesn't matter. Will be interesting to see how flat they are in the first playoff game after playing 2 meaningless games late and with the off the field turmoil that exists right now.

So the AFC looks like this....

1. Indy-BYE
2. Denver-BYE
3. Cincinatti
4. New England
5. Jacksonville
6. Pittsburgh

If that's the way it plays out, there is no way in hell Jacksonville goes to Foxboro and wins. That Pittsburgh/Cinci game would be a great one.

So THat would send New England to Denver and Pittsburgh to Indy OR New England to Indy and Cincinatti to Denver.

The AFC playoffs are going to be great me thinks.

As for the pick em, won't it be fun trying to pick next week's games?
