I'm wondering if that's even legal. http://www.servicealberta.ca/1290.cfm This page indicates that Alberta law
GFG do you know if this applies to voucher deals? I can't see why it wouldn't, and wonder if DealTicker is setting themselves up for a problem here.

I plan on stocking up on the Studio City Detailing deal too and buying enough to last the entire summer. I just haven't decided how many I want to buy yet, but it'll likely be 3-5. One year expiry isn't bad although a good chunk of the deals don't have expiry dates.
From my understanding, what makes these vouchers legal is even when expire, they are still worth whatever you paid for them. For example, today's DealTicker City Studio deal costs $29 for a Detailing Package valued at $90. If you use the voucher within a year, you'll get the detailing package worth $90. If you use the voucher past the expiry date, the voucher is still worth the original $29 that you paid and can be put towards any service at Studio City. I believe this applies to all vouchers purchased at all the group-buyng sites.
