He estimated that the revenue from a cap and trade and other taxation to a province like Alberta would increase government revenues by $7 billion per year by 2014. So not only would we see $14 billion or more leaving this province due to equalization but we would see a total of $21 billion leaving the province for central Canada by 2014.

On the humorous side of campaigning, clearly Gilles Duceppe is going after the hip hop vote today as he declared that "Stephan Harper does not care about Quebec"
