Same thing happened to me a couple months ago and only months after switching from full insurance to one way, so I was screwed for the damages.

Sucks because I usually always park in the driveway, but I had lots of people over and of course they took up all the spots so I was stuck on the road. Wake up in the morning and someone smashed by bumper and the side of my fender almost in the exact same spot as the SUV in the OP.

I hate low-lifes that just drive away.

Last winter someone hit my neighbors car at 5 in the morning and the girls tire popped and she called a tow truck to come pick up her car from in front of my house without notifying my neighbor that their car was hit. Luckily for my neighbor I was awake for work, I heard a loud noise and looked outside to see a girl on the phone outside her car so I thought something was fishy. Went outside and asked if she needed help. She said her tire just popped, but I noticed a little body damage as well, and took down her license plate just in case.

When she left I went around the corner to check what she hit and she side swiped my neighbors car and caused a lot of damage. I had to go to court, but I'm glad I caught that bitch.
