If it was simply an economic decision, you or anyone else could make many other choices and sacrifices for one person to stay home. The point is that many people do not make that choice, as it is not just an economic decision.
That is fine, but not of this changes the fact that I would feel fortunate to have my wife stay at home with my son.

You might not feel the same way, and that is fine with me. I am not saying you are raising your children incorrectly. I am stating how something would make me feel.
