Is it moral only to donate blood to find out if you have a west nile, not to donate because you want to help others. Moral: concerned with the judgment of the goodness or badness of human action and character

Since this thread's going this way now, I'll put in my two cents.

I would say it's 'moral' (I'm not really sure if it's the right word, but I'll go with it) to donate blood because you want to save a strangers life.

If you're donating blood just to find out if you have WNV, it's not moral. You're doing a good thing, but your motivations aren't "moral" and "good"...you know?
