Ode To The Old
Someone has to respect their elders around here...
Sample the red faced GM,
Had a very injured team,
And if you ever saw them,
You could even say they blowed.
All of the other GM’s,
Used to laugh and call him “old”.
They never let poor Sample,
Forget that he was covered in mould.
Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
Iginla came to say:
"Sample, with our injury plight,
Won't you play on my wing tonight?"
Although every GM loved him,
They still shouted out with glee:
"There goes Sample the dust ridden GM!”
And they booed him mercilessly!"
