Heaven and a soul could exist independently of a god.
Also, what if the only religious tenant I believed in was that there was a god, but I didn't know anything about them beyond that. Are you saying that wouldn't be an ideology. You seem to be suggesting you need multiple beliefs to have an ideology and beliefs contingent on other beliefs do not count.
I guess by that definition most religions are contingent on the fact god(s) exists.
Anyway, I've got to get back to work, but I think we could all learn a lot by watching the South Park mini-series "Go God Go".
