Driving is 13-17 minutes.

Transit is 35-50 minutes, depending on luck with transfers.

The reason for the long transit time is that it is a 2-transfer trip and that my workplace is in one of the worst-served (and serviceable) established employment areas in the city that demands one of:

- More than one transfer
- Doubling back across your path
- Both

NE business park that is about as far away from an LRT or BRT line as one can get in this city in an established area, shortest-road-path-wise.

Living closer is not an option that would provide an appreciable difference in commute time, especially when relative to the trade-off of moving further away than all other amenities (grocery, entertainment, cultural, etc.) that I am close to now.

My ideal solution would have our company relocate to a different space. West of Deerfoot would be preferable, but really, even a move of 10 blocks in any one direction would improve my transit commute considerably. I think downtown or Beltline space is out of the question for the company I work for, but would be the ultimately ideal situation for me.

All in all, it's really not that bad.
