#1 reason to be a Blue Jays fan this season; breakout seasons.

From a career-arch perspective, career best seasons come from the type of players that the Jays are loaded with:
-Young veterans poised to emerge as stars (Romero, Morrow, Litsch, Snider, Escobar)
-Veterans proving they deserve to be everyday starters (Encarnacion, Davis, Hill, Lind, entire bullpen)
-Wildcards (Aaroncibia, Reyes, Purcey, Lawrie)
-and with all these guys being backed up with AAAAers like Thames and Mastrionni in the minors. In case of injury this team doubles-down on it's breakout potential.

All this with a manager with accompanying high expectations.

Perhaps Joey Bats contradicts this theory, but I think he is the proverbial rabbit eating carrot right now - makes everyone else want it more because they've seen it pay off.

This is the type of rebuild I said could not be expected when trading Doc, glad to see I was wrong.
