CIS is about as good a reference for the powers of forensic investigation as House is an example of how doctors diagnose mysterious illnesses.
He put an awful lot of forethought into his plot. The level of planning puts him way above and beyond the average person on trial for murder in this province. He's in a whole different category altogether.
In hindsight, he made a few really big mistakes. The execution of his plan left quite a bit to be desired and the first victim getting away altogether certainly did not assist the enterprise.
