I call them "weather martyrs" about how THEIR weather is so much worse than yours. No matter what.

And you know it's coming when they say "that's nothing...." in reply to your comment about current weather.

Among the worst are Newfs -- I grew up in Ottawa where (weather martyr on) we got a lot more snow than here in Calgary... but every time I'd mention how the snow storm with 35 cm of snow was bad and I hated shovelling it, next thing you know Newfie Tim is going "that's nothing. In Newfoundland, we have 200 metres of snow a year!"
