Depending on the series of aircraft you are flying it differs. The boeing 737 600/700 only have the one emergency exit row. The window seat is the only seat with a short arm rest. But there is still enough of an arm rest to put your elbow on comfortably.

The seats you dont want are the seats in front of the emergency exit row as they do not recline.

The Boeing 737-800 series aircraft has 2 emergency exit rows. the first row only has 2 seats and no window seat. These seats do not recline, nor do the three seats in front of these. The 3 seats on the second row will all recline, and have much more leg room, the window seat still has that short arm rest of the window. However this seat has no seat in front of it and gives you unlimited leg room. Only downfall is you will have to have any bag in your overhead bin, no pocket for storage, and an annoying pull out table opposed to the flip down table on the seat ahead. Also as there is no seat, Your personal TV is a row ahead.
