Do you actually like the characters? The writers try to write them flawed but they fail miserably. Their flaw is that they are stupid or one dimensional.
It's written so anything can happen yet it is as predictable as the weather in the Mojave Desert.
Watch a few Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip episodes (Unfortunately Canceled) then switch back to this drivel. You'll soon understand what is crap and what is not crap.

You're the kind of person that goes to an action movie and walks out saying "that sucked! No plot, no character story" aren't you?
It's a 1 hour (45 mins if you subtract the time for commercials) that, for the most part, keeps people entertained and wondering "what will happen on the next show?" If they can accomplish this, then mission completed.
If you say the show is predictable, then good on you. I don't think most people watch shows trying to pick them apart.
I honestly didn't see a lot of the twists and turns coming. Certain things are obvious. Would they really kill off Anna already? No. But Tyler? I'd be lying if I said I didn't see his death coming...but when it did, I was still shocked.
It's a fun show. I certainly hope there's a 3rd season. If all you do is sit there picking it apart and complain about how it's not multi-dimensional, then watch something else. I don't see the fun in watching a show, only to pick it apart.
