It's just my wife and I, although the boy still lives at home, he doesn't eat here much. He drinks some of the pop and we also buy him cheap frozen dinners to bring to work, but we don't feed him all the time (he's never home).
But for my wife and I, about $150 - $200 a week. We try to eat pretty healthy, which causes our costs to go up of course. We don't eat ground beef for example, only ground turkey or chicken. We at a lot of chicken breasts as well.
So that's about $600 - $800 a month.

Honestly, I think they're adding it up wrong. If some of these guys actually broke down what they are spending to eat it would be double or triple what they're posting here.
My family of four is around $900 and we eat pretty healthy, but we don't buy organics or shop at specialty stores. Pretty much everything we buy is from Safeway. No pop. No chips. No pre-made Hungry Man-type dinners. But $25/week? Impossible.
