For anyone living in the New York area!!! What is the feeling like there?
This threat seemed a little more serious and specific

you'd be surprised how resilient people are. the attitude in my impression has always been " screw you terrorists, im not changing the way i live for you". New Yorkers are known as generally pretty tough and stubborn, so it will be hard to sway their resolve.
The more you knock them, the more they stick together.
At first when I moved to NYC, I was a little apprehensive about riding the subways because it seems like such an obvious target, and even though the thoughs creep into your head every once in a while ( especially on a nice and busy morning when the trains and stations are packed ), you soon realize that worrying about it wont help, and go on and do your daily ritual as normal. If something happens, there is probably little you can do about it anyway, so so be it I guess. I'll be honest with you though, when there are cops virtually everywhere you go, its hard to ignore things sometimes. Im growing to like taking the bus more and more.
And to tell you the truth Im a little more aprehensive flying into New York than I am living there. Because when im there, I have WAY too many other things to worry about ( such as paying $1500 for a one-bedroom shoebox! )
