It's not happening.
And for the record, Winnipeg cannot sustain a major franchise.
It's simply a money issue.
Too many "what if" scenarios such as Canadian dollar.
At least cgy/Edm have a larger market. They can survive a few years in a bad situation but Winnipeg would be the smallest market, period.
Zero room for error... And no one in the NHL top brass wants to deal with another team folding.
