Just wanted to point out this silly comment, since the other silly comments have been addressed by others.
From what you can tell? What experience do you have that is so vast that you can tell gay people don't want to get married as much as straight people? They don't live a long-term monogamous lifestyle? WHy do you say that?
Maybe they don't seem focused on getting married because, until recently, that option wasn't even fathomed by a gay couple, getting married wasn't available to them.
It comes across that the only reason you think this issue isn't a big deal to us, is because gay people don't want to get married. If you thought that the overwhelming majority of gay couples wanted to get married, would you now be against it?
