I don't have a problem with gays being together. It seems to me we made a mountain out of a mole-hill with this issue. From what I can tell, most gays aren't marriage-minded. They typically do not live a long-term monogamous lifestyle. Of course, hetero marriages don't seem to last like they used to either.
I just wish they would have created a separate (but equal) institution for gays to be legally recognized as a couple.
Also, I don't think gay couples should be adopting children. I have felt uncomfortable with this ever since I visited my grandparents in Victoria and witnessed a small child (less than 5 yrs old) referring to one of my grandparents gay male neighbors as "mom".
