The view from 'Pliegue del Tombado' after a 21km hike in southern Argentina (Patagonia) the only hike that gives you a view of both Torre and Fitzroy.
I'm still proud of us for doing this hike two days in a row. After making it 90% of the way the first day (not far enough for any views), only to be turned back by pouring rain, we knew we had to walk all the way back down and give it another shot the next day. For non-hardcore hikers like us it was a challenge.
Patagonia in the fall is pretty incredible, especially the colors of all the trees. You can get an idea of the redness of the trees in the valley from this pic.
