I still say it will be resolved and the team will stay. I think the NHL might go so far as to sell the team for $100 million less and get the parking revenue themselves if that's what it takes. Of course, that would be subject to Board of Governors approval but that might not be as hard as you think. They need this team to stay in Phoenix.

I have a natural tendency not to trust people who claim to be 'in the know' unless what they're saying actually makes logical sense to me. Even just off the information disclosed by the media, it was a pretty easy conclusion for me to come to that Goldwater would not be satisfied with the concessions by Hulsizer.
I still say you're donating $100 to CP and the Desert Dogs will be placed in a kennel with airport code YWG marked as the destination. The NHL does not 'need' this team to stay in Phoenix. They should have decided far earlier in the year to move the team - this whole drama with the team and Glendale, Goldwater, Balsillie, Hulsizer, Ice Edge and Reinsdorf has been an absolute embarassment to the league. Admit your mistakes, cut your losses.

If Hulsizer buys the team with his own money, not Glendale's, then Goldwater will stand down. Hulsizer didn't get to be worth what he is by making stupid financial decisions (certainly wasn't his spelling abilities either), which is why he's trying to get Glendale to front more than half of the cash for him to purchase the team. Also, I assume that people 'high up' have told you that the investors are lined up, just as they told you this whole fiasco would end positively by end of day Monday. You'll have to excuse me for being skeptical of any information you've been provided with that you're subsequently relaying to us here, none of it has been very accurate thus far.
