I'm going to still side with Sidney Crosby's Hat and say that Phoenix stays and we see Atlanta departing to greener pastures.

IMO, it's a shame that Atlanta didn't work out again, but having a bad product for 10 years, star players that leave for greener pastures and a ownership team that never wanted the franchise in the beginning, just means it's time to cut the ties and run.

Even though it's been really quite on the Atlanta front, it sounds like this will be a very quiet dump and run. It sounds like the current ownership mess has no interest in keeping the team and if a reasonable offer comes in that team is going to be out of there.

Sure they are saying the right things, but by passing the buck to Bettman, they are forcing him to make a decision. I don't think the owners are at all interested in owning another losing team for another season.
