Nothing ever happens with all this fear mongering... people like to get scared for the hell of it. Its the same reason why people get so enthralled with alien take over movies and natural disaster movies, we are always intrigued by the possibility of worlds end. Its been going on for centuries and will continue long after all of us alive now are dead and our grandchildren start doing the same thing.
