I met Lanny once. The circumstances were less than ideal, and he was not exactly rude but not exactly friendly either. It was a bit of a stressful situation.

I often see Regehr in the neighbourhood, and I've talked with him on a few occasions. Our kids are the same age, so that gives us a topic of conversation. He does seem to be kind of quiet.

I have also met Brent Sutter during training camp this past year. He shared some insights with the poster Nekhara and, if I remember correctly, praised Backlund at the time.

The only other hockey person I've ever met was Harley Hotchkiss, and he is a wonderful person. We didn't even really talk hockey. He grew up not far from where I was born, so we talked about home. I have seen him a few times since then, and he always stops to say hi and calls me by name.
