turned on the lights went to th bathroom washed my face and said I have to sleep in my bed cause if I don't I never will again.
I did and it never happened again

It's called a
hypnagogic event or
sleep paralysis. It's not ghosts; your brain just misfired. People often report being unable to move, and seeing people, aliens, or demons. Often they will have the sensation of pressure or weight on their chest as well.
It's a well documented and researched neurological phenomenon. No ghosts required!
