Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been handed a five-match touchline ban and £30,000 fine by the Football Association following his criticism of referee Martin Atkinson.
Ferguson had been charged with improper conduct by the FA after questioning Atkinsonfollowing United's 2-1 defeat at Chelsea at the start of the month.
