When I was in the 9th grade my little brother (3rd grade) was jumped by 3 bully's from the 5th grade. My bro was scared to go to school the next day, my parents told the school what had happened and we thought they would at least attempt to punish the bully's.

So a week later, I see the three of these kids mocking my brother for telling on them. I walked up to them and said 'so 3 on 1 is how you guys fight eh?' I then proceeded to beat the livin' piss out of them. Cars, buses, people all around I didn't give a sH&% I beat them up until I thought they felt what my brother felt, pain and humiliation.

Those particular cowards never bothered him again. I guess what I'm getting at is sometimes the only way to learn is to feel the lesson. Scolding a kid is one thing, a smack in the head is another.

Our society is going down a dangerous road where we can no longer discipline our kids, and they grow up thinking there are no real consequences for their actions.
