Dee and Mac are married in real life. This show is outstanding. It runs on FX in the states. Runs on Showcase here when the new season comes out and on "Bite" everyday at 5pm and 9pm. It started similarily to Trailer Park Boys here in Canada in that it was a cheaply made "film" first. If you are a fan look on itunes on Season 4, I think. There is a free show you can watch during that season, where film students interview Rob McElhenney about them starting out and pitching it to different channels. Simliar to Inside the Actor's Studio. Good few minutes to watch if you like that stuff. Fred Savage directs alot of the episodes and is a key contributor also. Who is Fred Savage?
