It's the Bennett and, specifically, the Ferland points that I think surprised us all. Who would've guessed that Ferland, a kid who is kick ass at fighting and grinding, would also be kick ass at getting points.
Bennett has also been a pleasant surprise. We all thought he was doing well in Portland until he got traded to Vancouver... then we truly got to see what he could do.

even though Bennett was drafted at the same time, he's nearly a year older than Howse. However, this is really only his 2nd season in major junior. Hopefully he turns out to be sleeper pick
it's great that Howse is having a great 19 year old season. Often top CHL scorers are overage players; being 20 can make a huge difference in experience and physical maturity. Howse put up 31 goals as a 17 year old; 47 goals as an 18 year old; and now 50+ as a 19 year old. Increasing point totals along the way as well
