Ok, I didn't know how to do spoiler tags so this will have to do. I read about this one in a book.

First of all the two audience members are plants, they signed a identical bullet head and shell before the show.

Second the bullet that you see being inspected and loaded are clay bullets that will shatter into dust when they hit anything, ie the glass.

The bullet hitting the glass is legit, some prefer to use squibed glass to be sure.

The bullets have been in their mouths the whole time
