I have searched the Canadian news channels, etc, etc and I can't find any information about nuclear fallout and how it would affect people in Canada.
I can honestly say that this picture has me a little worried.

Don't worry as it's bull#### (BTW isn't Australia non-nuclear - sounds to me like an anti-nuke scaremonger group taking advantage of a catastrophe. At this point I'm ready to punch all of these people spreading misinformation (toxic rain, earthquake weapons, superduperfallout) in the face. Both explosions thus far have been hydrogen blasts, not core blasts. There has been some low level radiation but nothing like that would suggest.
BBC is doing some level headed reporting of the situation -

I'm in China at the moment and can't get access to either google or Twitter, but if you do a search on "Twitter" and "radiation geiger counter Tokyo" you'll see there's been no change at all. (I believe someone is ustreaming it).
So, don't panic. And think before you post. Maps like the #### above make people's lives in affected areas harder. If you don't believe me, let me forward you calls from my mum....
