Really, I watch movies for a different experience than I get when playing video games. In games, blowing up aliens with big guns is fun and it's interactive. If that's all I wanted, than I'd do that. Battle: LA is being described as a video game you have to sit there and watch. That doesn't sound that fun.
Good point. I think I'm pretty much the same. I can't sit through terrible movies these days, but I don't mind cheesey plot lines and bad dialogue in the video games I play. Video games have taken over for whatever role terrible action or sci fi films used to have in my entertainment fix.
