Just got this game over Christmas and I don't usually read this thread, I didn't realize this one was so lowly regarded (granted I've NEVER played online, pretty much just play with my buddies). Playing the computer sucks, but its been that way for awhile now. You have to really fiddle with the sliders, but I still haven't fully found a setting between too hard and too easy. Man the computer's chippy, they run so many pick & roll's and they never get called. RGMG
Over-all though when you're playing your buddies it runs pretty smooth I think, the passing took some real getting used to but I like it now. Sticks break waaaaay too much, but you can change that on the sliders. Same with penalties (way too many), but again, sliders. I like the custom goal celey's you can do, there's some good ones.
I'm curious how many of you complaing have PS3, as we all have XBox and my buddy got PS3 primarily for NHL11. He hates it, it doesn't run nearly as smooth as XBox. Its so much harder to pass too, its quite bizarre. Over-all I love this game when you're playing your buddies (when they're in the same room as you, idk about online), but they need to fix playing the computer, its so damn chippy.
