The St. Cloud State University men's hockey team (15-5-5, 11-12-4 WCHA) climbed up to seventh place in th WCHA standings thanks to a big 3-2 victory at #5/6 University of Denver (20-10-5, 16-8-3 WCHA) on Friday, March 4 at Magness Arena in Denver, Colo.
The Huskies's Aaron Marvin (Warroad) charted the game-winner in the third period with a 4x4 goal at 18:24, with a solo assist from junior forward Travis Novak (Lethbridge).
The stage was then set for Marvin's late game heroics, which marks the second consecutive game that he has posted a goal. He now has three goals in the last two contests for the Huskies. |
