Do you shut off your main?
I've had my fridge water supply go and make a small disaster in the kitchen and basement.
I've know a guy who's dishwasher supply went while he was gone for the day and it absolutely destroyed his house.
I've thought of turning those two off when I'm out of town.
The stuff in the basement... I'm not too worried. It's undeveloped. Yup, it would still suck, but I don't keep much down there.
