I am predicting that this will be like Apple's iPhone 4 in terms of popularity. I think it will bring enough new features that it will knock a lot of people off the fence who were thinking of getting one. Not to mention the people who were waiting for the second generation. I don't know what exactly it was with the iPhone 4, but I see those things everywhere. I am betting this will be the same tipping point for the iPad.
As for the specs, I am guess the same as everyone else. Higher resolution (not retina), faster processor, more RAM, more storage, front and rear camera, increment upgrades of other parts (speakers etc.), same price.
Things I would be interested to see, but I am not expecting would be a matte screen (make it remotely usable outside), lighter weight (doubtful with keeping current battery life), 7" screen size model (with $350-$400 price point).
