I didn't walk out of the theatre with a new outlook on life. I didn't walk out thinking, "man, I need to change the way I live." That's not what the movie was there for. I can't imagine many people took it with more than just a grain of salt.

Hey I liked it, the Academy liked it when they gave it Best Picture. PLenty of critics liked it, and you didn't. No one is right or wrong.
I have to agree. I thought the best part about Crash was that it was very "matter of fact". I thought it didn't really have a message. It just kind of looked at the situations and said "this is how it is".

I found it very non-preachy and it in many ways lacked moral judgment of characters that were clearly flawed.
