I suspect the doctor knew what he was doing.
Jackson's family members seem to think he was murdered, for what reason I don't know (probably business related)...
It also seems that a medical "accident" like this is relatively easy to cover up....
I think it is "plausible" that he was murdered.
Much moreso than faking his own death anyways...
