Crash? Meh. Kind of a twisted movie. I don't like Spader or Hunter. And the premise was stupid.

Crash? Great movie. Good choice for Best Picture that year. (HM to Walk the Line, Syriana) I've never heard of hoards of people walking out of it. It made a lot of money and was critically acclaimed.
